Trace’s Psychic

Trace has been going through women like they were going out of style. The countless women haven’t satisfied the need he has, but having them keeps his craving under control. He thought he would try a long-term relationship, but that didn’t work out either. When he meets Aislinn at a bar with her friends, he’s shocked when he’s instantly hooked on a woman who is the complete opposite from what he thought he wanted. He has yet to find out that Aislinn has many secrets, and some of them even Trace might not be able to deal with.

Aislinn has been an outcast from her community all her life. When she meets Trace, the instant attraction she feels for him makes her wonder if he could be her destined mate. She’s half elf, and they mate for life. She doesn’t want to believe that she has found her mate, so she tries to ignore her growing feelings. When a serial killer is on the loose and Aislinn is the next target, she has to use some secret powers that could either save her or kill her.

Aislinn is a very sympathetic character that I cared about a lot. I found myself hoping that she would get someone that deserved her in the end. Trace is a typical male, so sure that he is right; he doesn’t believe it when he’s found to be wrong. His reaction to Aislinn’s power is just what you would expect of a man in his line of work, and he seemed to be able to take that in stride. The sex between the two characters was hot and passionate, with both of them communicating a need for each other that seemed to leave them breathless. After reading Trace’s Psychic, I will be on the lookout for more great stories from this fantastic author, that’s for sure!
