Hot Toddy #1 - Wolf Tales Interlude: The Gift

This title is a continuation of a series and should be read in order! Xandi and Anton have business in the city and leave behind Stefan and an emotionally wounded Keisha. Anton has not been able to reach Keisha fully because of her mental blocks from a brutal assault. Thanks to Stefan, some very cleansing sex, and intense mind sharing, Keisha is able to fully embrace what happened to her and what she was forced to do. No longer seeing herself as a monster, she is finally able to accept herself.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It is an intense interplay between two people who are put in a position of being without their mates, but are still in a sexual relationship with each other. This is the first time I’ve read a story with two couples that share in every sense of the word, and I definitely LOVED it. This was a unique as it also dealt with the hugely traumatic action of rape and how it affects the person.

This is actually the first in this series that I have read, so I went online and browsed a few of the excerpts for the previous two stories. Wow, let me tell you, I am definitely adding these to my collection!
