Jewel Thief is a true BDSM story and is not to be read by the faint of heart. If you don’t enjoy reading quasi-consensual sadomasochism, do not read this book. That said, Jewel Thief was a well-written story that shows the darker side of BDSM. Claire Thompson takes us down the road of ‘what if’ with an intriguing story about the relationship between a slave and her dom. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and the internal dialogue of Elena. Watching her try to come to grips with her darker side was intriguing. Thank you for a well-crafted tale, Ms Thompson.
