Alyna Lachlan’s Breeders gives you a glimpse into an interesting world of vampires and dragons. Her concept of male vampires transforming to dragons really held my attention. I found it to be very fascinating to read about the Calling's effects. Tyron is on the verge of his second Calling and after many years of searching the galaxy, he is able to find his actual mate, Shayna. An unforeseen circumstance forces Tyron to quickly mate with Shayna before he has a chance to clearly explain to her about the Calling, which leads to a very thrilling tangle of their wills. Shayna is a very strong and independent woman, while Tyron is an equally powerful and direct warrior.

Breeders is a terrific start to a wonderful series, and I eagerly look forward to more unique stories by Ms. Lachlan.
