Over the River and Through the Woods

Meredith Chilton can’t believe her ears. Her father is making the most bizarre and absurd request of her. He and the shareholders in her family want Meredith to marry an unknown man named, Maximilian Emmerick III. The marriage and the merging of the companies will allow her father to continue to privately own his company without forcing him to sell shares to remain in business. Terribly distraught, Meredith immediately runs to her grandmother to seek comfort. Instead of finding her beloved grandmother, Meredith encounters a handsome stranger who she believes to be her grandmother’s handyman, Carlos.

I vastly enjoyed Kathryn Anne Dubois’ Over the River and Through the Woods. This little quickie had me hurriedly turning the pages to experience the erotic wonders written by Ms. Dubois. These characters are very likable. Meredith is a reasonable, dependable woman, while Carlos is a straight-forward, mysterious alpha-type male. Meredith shocks herself by behaving outside her norm and has an incredible, unforgettable night of passion with a total stranger. The passion between Meredith and Carlos was scorching hot! The love scenes were very sensational and detailed, leaving me breathless with desire. Ms. Dubois quickly captured my attention and held it until the very end. Over the River and Through the Woods is a terrific read!
