Mission Of Mersea
Molly didn’t want to sell any of her grandparents’ belongings, but her cousins hadn’t left her a choice. Her plan had been to buy back as much as she could from the auction, but that was before ‘Mr. # 86’ spent the afternoon out biding her. The last straw was when he bid a fortune for her grandparents’ bed. All of the other things would have been nice to have, but the bed Molly really wanted to have back; ‘Mr. # 86’ had taken that from her as well.
Sean Callaghan had fond memories of the little town. He had several projects in the works and looked forward to settling down. On a chance encounter, Sean ran into Molly again. It was obvious that she didn’t remember him, but they’d known each other as children. The attraction between them was instant, but Sean had bigger problems on his hands; someone wasn’t happy with the new guy in town. Whether it was because he bought Molly’s belongings or because he didn’t seem to be leaving, it definitely appeared that the town of Mersea Heights was out to get him.
Mission of Mersea is a warm, touching story from Jan Janssen. Molly and Sean are genuine and fun. Their encounters are amusing as well as steamy. Mission of Mersea is a charming story that readers will surely enjoy. Molly is very protective of Sean and the sentiment is endearing when one thinks that it’s the town she’s lived in her whole life that she’s protecting him from. Sean falls head over heals in love the second he sees Molly and he sees no reason to fight it. The story overall is very sweet and pleasant to read. Mission of Mersea is just the kind of story one would expect when penned by Jan Janssen.
