Heat Wave

Leigh is an interior designer; she’s been left feeling inadequate and unattractive by her ex-husband. She wants someone in her life to make her happy like no man has ever done before. She is hot from the heat inside her cottage, as the weather is the worst it has ever been. When Leigh steps out on the porch, there he was – tall, with bronze muscles, and he’s moving boxes in. Her new neighbor is incredibly hot, and not just from the heat of the day. She can tell that much from across the street. Could he be the one, the one she needs?

Jared is a photographer who is temporarily relocating to Los Angeles. That is just what he does; he moves around from location to location for different assignments. He is unattached for this very reason. It is simply scorching outside as he moves in. The heat is unbelievable, and he needs something to cool him off. When he knocks on Leigh’s door, he sees that she is even more beautiful than he thought when he saw her from across the street. He wants to get to know her. Maybe they will have something in common. Could she be someone he would want to spend his summer with?

Eden Bradley offers readers a wonderful short story that lives up to its name - Heat Wave. Readers will love the characters immediately. Leigh is the girl who just wants a man to fulfill her in ways that she has never felt before. Jared wants someone that he can spend time with in his new surroundings before he leaves again. The author has a wonderful talent for balancing emotions with the heat that two people can create between themselves. As the story unfolds, readers will be hooked to keep reading to see if Jared can give Leigh everything that she wants. But, will that be enough? Will Leigh and Jared be able to say good-bye when his next assignment comes along?

This is a book that I could not put down. Although it is a short story, it engulfs you into its passionate, tantalizing romance instantly. I have to admit that I read it twice. The intense passion that Eden Bradley incorporates into this story will leave reader wanting a Jared and/or Leigh of their own. Readers can not go wrong with Heat Wave. It is a hot romance. 5 Angels!
