Night Song

Ian LeMaster is a 750 year old master vampire; powerful, sexy, arrogant and one of the oldest vampires, Ian is the executioner of his kind, hunting down vampires who have gone rogue. He spent the last 5 years hunting down the only ancient vampire more powerful than him, in order to protect the woman he loves more than his existence.

Kathryn Clark is a vampire slayer; a kick-ass female packed in a small package. She was once attacked by and almost died in the hands of a vampire that also killed her parents; she was left with a few ‘complications’ from the attack - heightened senses and great strength that make her different.

They met 10 years ago; and fell in love. Kathryn was a young slayer in the city governed by Ian. He taught her what she needs to know about vampires and gave her pride, confidence and courage. She brought light to his existence, made him feel and love and is the other half of his soul that completes him. Until she sees the scar on his chest that made her believes he was a killer. 10 years later, she is determined to capture Ian for revenge and the bounty on his head. With a rogue vampire intending to harm Kat, Ian would have to convince Kat that they were meant to be since the day she was born while protecting her. Would Ian be able to find his happiness and convince Kat that what they share is special? Or would he lose Kat to the rogue vampire who had killed her parents?

Although this is one of the most commonly used plot of vampire meets the slayer, this story will definitely slay its readers with a well-woven plot full of action, wonderful cast of characters and a romantic story of a love that was meant to be. Kathryn would give Buffy a run for her money. I would love to have a sexy vampire who would love me half as much as Ian loves Kathryn. The sex between the both of them is erotic and yet held a hint of tenderness. The first chapter of the story had me intrigued and even before I got to the second chapter, I was already anxious to want to know what will happen next. However I wish that it could have been much longer and would have loved to know what had happened to the rogue vampire. This is definitely a pleasant story that I enjoyed reading.
