The Vampire’s Kiss

Savannah Daniels shares a special bond with her twin brother. When she is informed of the deaths of her brother and his wife after witnessing the deed being done in her dreams, Savannah is determined to track down the killer for vengeance. She spends a year researching the only man she thinks can help her, William Dark. Diagnosed with a tumour and with only months to live, she arrives at William’s doorstep. She is armed with his brother’s diary, and requests his help to kill someone - herself.

William Dark is an elusive vampire who has lived a lonely life for centuries. When Savannah arrives at his doorstep demanding to receive the kiss of the vampire, William thinks that she is like the many others who seek immortality so he turns her away. Yet he is intrigued and fascinated by the petite female who looks like a fairy. Taking responsibility (albeit indirectly) for her brother’s violent death, William agrees to give her the gift of eternal life in exchanged for Savannah’s consent to be his mate for all eternity. Will she agree to the bargain, or is it too high a price to pay for The Vampire's Kiss?

I can think of no word to describe The Vampire’s Kiss other than WOW! Cynthia Eden has created a story with strong characters and an incredible plot that pulled me right into the story from the start to the end. Savannah is a heroine that knows what she wants and has the determination and courage to achieve it. William is a hero to die for, strong and confident, yet I love his vulnerability when it comes to his love for Savannah. This is definitely a book I have enjoyed reading; it had me gripping onto my chair waiting to see if retribution would be achieved and if, even the loneliness of eternity, love really can conquer all.
