Desert Trickster

Sara, a veterinary technologist, is playing fast and loose with two men. The first, Dante, is a mysterious and darkly sensual near-stranger who she has met through her job. The second, Jake, is a handsome local park ranger with family ties to the community.

Dante is odd. He wants her to play naughty and exciting sexual games out in the desert with him, games where she is at his mercy and left alone afterwards. Jake, on the other hand, is the kind of man that you marry and settle down to raise babies with. Sara isn’t ready for forever yet, but something about Dante scares her in a purely elemental way...

Desert Trickster mingles legend and superstition to create a quick and enchanting read. Kathy Kulig jams a ton of material into this short erotic work. Dante’s aura of moody blackness is almost as exciting as the sensual demands that he places on Sara, and Jake nails the role of “good ol’ boy” in an endearing and convincing manner. The plot was amazingly well-developed for being a length of only 14 pages, and Kathy Kulig spins a super story in Desert Trickster.
