Reunion

Allie experiences a strange sense of déjà vu when she sees Sam again. Her daughter is engaged to his son, but the daydreams that Allie is having about Sam are anything but maternal. Sam and Allie met one summer long ago, as camp counselors, the year she was twenty-one. They became intimate that summer, as the sparks flying off them wouldn’t allow for anything less, but over the years they’ve each built a life and a family separate from the other. Remaining friends was the easy part, but now that Allie is divorced and Sam is widowed, it seems as if their time is finally here.

Sam never had a problem with wanting Allie, but he did have an issue with her giving up her dreams for him. Their big fight over her future sounded a death knell for their relationship all of those years ago, but now the barriers between them are gone...or are they? Will time and distance make a gap too wide for love to bridge?

Reunion is a sweet and spicy story about love found, then lost and found again. Kelsey Lewis jam-packs this novella with a lot of emotion, a lot of sex, and a lot of fun, while at the same time, developing such endearing characters that you’ll wish this was a full-length novel. Allie and Sam are in their middle-aged years, and they have both experienced the joy and trials that life can bring, but when they are given a chance to revisit their youthful passion, how will they handle it? I am pleased to award Reunion with 5 Angels and a Recommended Read for its wonderfully riveting characters and evocative fairy tale ending. Kudos to Kelsey Lewis on this hot little number!
