Virginia Newman, called Gina, is down on her luck. She’s a famous model, but since she broke her leg, her financial picture has gone from bad to worse. When you spend pretty close to every penny that you make, it is kind of hard to build up a savings account, and she’s too embarrassed to go to her wealthy family for a loan. So Gina takes matters into her own hands and models for Thompson’s Erotic Enterprises.

When her picture appears on the packaging of an X-rated toy, she and her family face embarrassment and public censure. During the process of getting her image removed from the packaging, she meets up with Sam Collier, the one-night stand from years ago who made her pulse hum. Sam hasn’t forgotten Gina, either, and hilarity ensues when they reconnect and sparks fly.

The Virginia Model-Logues is the funniest thing I’ve read in just about forever. Gina and Sam are two of a kind in more ways than one, as the ending to this book proves. Brit Blaise tickles readers’ funny bones with this erotic chick lit-style piece, even as the secondary characters scheme and plot behind the scenes. The diary entries are hilarious and jump this tale forward by leaps and bounds, giving us good insights into Gina’s mental workings and her many trials. Sit back, hold on, and be prepared for belly laughs and chuckles, giggles and guffaws as you read The Virginia Model-Logues.
