Catching Caroline

Caroline is a lady under no one’s control but her own. She has a comfortable income and no family to tell her what to do or who to marry. In Regency England, she is an enigma. When she sees Jack for the first time, she cannot believe the lust she feels; in fact, she runs away. Jack is drawn to Caroline and is enthralled by her. When he gets the opportunity to kiss her, he takes it and is forever hers.

Caroline runs from him for two years because she cannot trust her animal instincts. She does not want to kill him and fears that if she gives in to their attraction, she will. Little does she know that he is pursuing her across the globe. He will not fail to claim her as his own.

Catching Caroline is a great story to while away the afternoon with. Ms. Day does a wonderful job of catching your attention and keeping it in this novella. The characters are well written and the premise is new. There are a lot of vampire stories out there, but this one is unique. I hesitate to tell you why because I don’t want to give it away; I’ll let you find out when you read it yourself.
