Gone With the Nerd
Zoe is an actress who is known for her glam roles. When she receives a script that could get her out of her rut, she jumps at the chance to audition. Before she can do so, however, she needs to learn how to be a nerd. Who better to help her than her lawyer, Flynn? He has all the nerdy qualities she needs - he’s punctual, cautious, and is always dressed just so. When Zoe propositions him, she never imagines that she’d find a nerd attractive, especially Flynn.
Flynn cannot believe it! Sexy Zoe Tarleton has asked him for nerd lessons! He doesn’t know whether to be insulted or excited. Flynn has just decided that it’s time to propose to his girlfriend of twelve months. He hopes she’ll understand that in order to hide from the paparazzi and her agent, Zoe and Flynn need to go north to Bigfoot country to read the script and work on the lessons. While there, both Zoe and Flynn find that nerds aren’t always what they seem.
I truly loved this book! I have enjoyed all of Vicki Lewis Thompson’s Nerd Series, but this one really rocked! The idea of Beauty and the Geek is already out there (reality TV, shame on you!) but this was so much better! Of course, Ms. Thompson does a great job of writing; she always does. The characters were well-rounded and the plot was phenomenal! I can’t wait for more.
