Merc and Her Men

Kyli has just been turned down for a position on the Fleet and is drowning her sorrows while waiting for friends. After she received her rejection notice, she also got a cryptic message to meet at The Corner Pub. While waiting, Kyli reminisces about her two favorite and most important lovers, Max and Gregor. Gregor introduced her to her darker side and helped her realize what she enjoys; he’ll always be a friend. Max, on the other hand, holds her heart, and she remembers the wonderful times they had, as well as the sadder times. When she looks up to see the two of them bearing down on her, her first instinct is to run, but she knows they’ll catch her. Does she want to be caught?

Merc and Her Men is a wonderful story about what a man will do for the woman he loves. Max loves Kyli even though he’s been apart from her, and now that he’s back, he has taken the time to find out what Kyli wants and what her fantasies are. With Gregor’s help, he makes them come true. Gregor is a great secondary character and the rapport between Gregor and Kyli is phenomenal. Max is an intense man and is a wonderful hero for this book. I truly enjoyed reading about their adventures and I hope that there'll be a book devoted to Gregor's story coming out sometime soon.
