Overcoming Abigail
Abigail Du Pre’s father has turned her over to Dr. Lucien Trier as payment for his gambling debts. Lucien plans to train her to be his lover and sex slave – a purpose which Abigail is suited for due to her docile personality. However, neither Lucien or Abigail is aware of what his training will unleash for both of them.
Overcoming Abigail is a story of a young woman’s journey toward her sexual maturation and liberation. Abigail is a submissive daughter when her father turns her over to Lucien. She doesn’t put up much resistance to the change in ownership although she feels the pain of humiliation and the realization that her father doesn’t love her like he should. Lucien is a man who knows what he wants in his sexual partner. He needs to dominate and Abigail becomes his willing student. He stirs in her sexual desires and passions that she wasn’t aware of. Their relationship is full of eroticism as Lucien tutors her and molds her to what he wants in a partner, with Abigail indulging him and submmitting to all of Lucien’s wishes. Lucien finds himself enamored with his student as time passes. Abigail becomes a woman in the process, growing into someone who is more than a match for Lucien in every way. Although this reader is not a big fan of BDSM situations, these two have some of the most highly erotic scenes I have come across in awhile.
This book is not for the squeamish or faint of heart as it deals with BDSM situation openly. The author explores the master/slave relationship using the two protagonists. Lucien and Abigail are very likable and complex characters, and some of the best scenes occur when these two are together one on one. Overcoming Abigail was an eye-opening and very entertaining story that will enhance a reader’s understanding of the BDSM topic.
