Cinderella’s Rebellion

Cinderella is tired of cleaning up after her step-family and she doesn’t want to be rescued by nancy-boy Prince Charming (nancy boy is the term used in the book, it means what you think). At the urging of two non-fictional feminists who jump into her story, Cinderella decides to leave her fairy tale for the real world. In the real world, Cinderella has a lucrative business as an electrician and never has to shave her legs. Her one wish is now to find a handsome man to take her virginity and make love to her, good and proper.

Derek, the King of IsBn, vows to restore order to his land of books. To do that, he must capture the lovely cinderwench and put her back into her fairy tale. When his feelings get involved, things become much more complicated than he anticipated.

I really loved reading Cinderella's Rebellion. I laughed out loud while reading and couldn’t put the story down. Ms. Valentine’s re-imagining of Cinderella as a 21st century working woman was truly inspired. She wrote Cinderella's character in a way that made me sympathize with her and her plight. Cinderella’s introduction to the amorous arts was skillfully done. Derek was a gentle lover and the love scenes between them were erotic, passionate and extremely arousing. Readers who enjoy the retelling of fairy tales with an adult spin will love Cinderella's Rebellion.
