Lynne Garrett is returning once again to Virginia City to help solve her third and most exciting mystery yet. When Cassandra Potter is arrested for the theft of museum artifacts she asks Lynne to come back to Virginia City and help prove her innocence.

Lynne is happy to try and help her friend’s aunt. She is equally happy to have the chance to see her friend Jeremy again.

I loved this book, it is my favorite in the series! The suspense in this story is palatable but once again written in such a way as to be suitable for readers of all ages. Mary Jean Kelso does a marvelous job of letting the characters in this series grow up. Not only does this book contain an intriguing mystery but also the beginnings of a budding romance or two. Parents if your child has left this book laying about do not be embarrassed to pick it up and read it; I think you will enjoy it as much as they did. Do not forget to check out the first two books in this series A Virginia City Mystery and Abducted. All of the books in this series will stand on their own, but all are worth taking the time to read.
