As the only fairy in her family without magical abilities, Angelina Moore concentrates on her dream to develop new types of fireworks – animated, physics-defying types that almost come alive. She has just perfected the formula when her business and sexual partner Griffin steals it and leaves. But Angelina’s tracks him down to, of all places, a gay carnival. This is one hot little firecracker! Angelina is wild and crazy and willing to use any excuse to get back at Griffin. He’s tired of being taken for granted and uses extreme measures to shake her up. They both come to realize that they need each other not only to make the experiments work, but also to be emotionally and sexually satisfied. For such a short book, you get to know the characters and their feelings very well. You’re also given a teaser of something more. I can’t wait to read more from Lacey Savage. Be warned – Chemistry to Burn will definitely heat things up!
