Breaking Point

Have you ever ask yourself the all encompassing question, "what if I had done things differently?"

That is the dilemma that Max faces when he realizes that the one woman he has ever loved is dead! Gina was the only one for the loner FBI agent and supervisor Max Bhagat. He has to fly to Germany to see her body and start a deeper mourning than the grieving he did for her when he let her go almost two years ago. Max let her walk out of his life then and he has never been the same since.

A miracle happens, or does it? Gina is alive, but is being held captive by an Italian man, who was thought to no longer be a gun and arms dealer, but reality he still has his hands in the action. Gina and her friend Molly are being held on a small island in the middle of nowhere, and Max will do anything to get them out. He takes up with Molly’s husband Jones to go in and rescue them.

From one suspense-filled moment to another, waiting for the next unforeseen object to keep the lovers apart kept me reading on and on. I was very pleased that I picked up this book to read as it was a cliff hanger that kept my interest at an almost fever pitch from the beginning to the end. The characters are strong personalities, with Max being a definite sexy alpha male and Gina being a strong woman who has seen and done a lot in life. Suzanne Brockmann really got my interest stirred up in Breaking Point with how well the characters are portrayed. You can actually feel their feelings and emotions. Breaking Point grabs your heart and mind, totally involving you in the book.

I suggest Breaking Point to anyone who wants a great FBI thriller with a plotline that takes you into the world of the unknown. You'll also realize how the emotions grip you, making you feel the heartache and joy that the characters go through. Breaking Point is a fast-paced, eventful book that will keep you going page after page.
