In her alter ego she is Lavender Page, a sultry street walker out for her pleasure on Main Street. Is Lavender Page more than she seems?

Heather Highmark’s brother Roy just happens to be a member of the group being stalked by the killer. Heather’s secret crush Langdon Cruise, a rich sexy guy who is homicide detective is also a target. Heather is a clairvoyant and does readings in her book and Apothecary store. Throw in that crazy serial killer who leaves a lavender feather by all of his victims, and you have a good read.

I was wondering if the suspense was going to kill ME while I read to see if Roy and Langdon or even Heather would be killed by the Lavender Feather murderer. After many interesting and memorable twists and turns, I finally had my answer to the questions that I sought. Who would die and who would survive? Purple Haze by Billie A. Williams is a book well worth a second or third read.

From start to finish, there were many aspects of the book that I enjoyed. I kept saying that they have to catch the killer, especially after one of the victims was seen leaving the hangout of the Rec League Players with a woman. He later turned up dead with that famous lavender feather by his side. I can't even pick a favorite scene from this book as there were so many - from Langdon’s hospital stay to the murderer as well as the murders themselves. Get Purple Haze by Billie A. Williams and lose yourself in this exciting, suspenseful book.
