Alex Ramsey is a gorgeous Private Investigator who knows he must investigate the woman and her reaction to him. The more he learns, the more he is convinced that she is Cole’s dead wife, Jessica. Alex is completely appalled at the torture she has endured from his twin brother. He promises to protect them both, but he finds himself falling in love with her. Will Alex be able to convince Jessica that he is nothing like his brother? Or will he lose her because he can not bring himself to harm his only brother?

Cain and Abel will leave you breathless. This is one of the best books I have read all year. Michelle Perry will draw you in from the first page of this intriguing story and you will not put it down until you are finished. Cain and Abel is fast-paced and wrought with high emotion, sexual tension, mayhem, and suspense. I loved Jessica for her ability to be strong for her son, even when she was scared to death and her ability to re-take control of her life. Alex won my heart for his ability to love Jessica knowing that it would be a long time before she could ever love and trust again. Cole is a man you will love to hate. Ms. Perry kept me on the edge of my seat. I laughed and cried so many times throughout this emotional tale. The ending of Cain and Abel completely shocked me. If you are looking for a suspenseful tale that will take you on an emotional roller coaster, than this is definitely a must read. It has earned a prominent position on my keeper shelf.
