Windworld: Rapture’s Etesian

Kynthia is sick to death of her aunt and sisters trying to force her to choose a mate. She is a fierce warrioress, and is well able to take care of herself. She never wants to be at the mercy of some sweaty, slobbery man again. When she arrives home to find yet another male nude and chained waiting for her, she becomes so angry that she frees him. Then, the man has the nerve to steal her horse! She vows to get her baby back, safe and sound.

Leski returns to his home, but can not stop thinking of Kynthia. She is a remarkably beautiful woman and he wonders what it would be like to know more of her. He gets his chance when Kynthia comes to claim her horse. While trying to restrain her, Leski accidentally triggers her Transformation into the wolf. Rather than fear, the Transformation intrigues Leski even further.

As Leski and Kynthia slowly begin to learn about each other, they are dragged deeper into the turmoil within their lands. Leski is forced to part from Kynthia to help plan the war to come. As a member of a warrior race, Kynthia vows to enlist the aid of her sisters and the surrounding clans, but there is treachery waiting for our heroes. Following the only paths available to them, they set into motion a chain of events having results that they will never be free from.

Charlotte Boyette-Compo has done a beautiful job of creating a captivating story. The characters are so well-developed that it takes little effort to leap into this tale. Her imagery allows you to see and feel the scenes and emotions unfolding throughout the story. She grabs you from the first paragraph and does not let you go until the very last.

Ms. Boyette-Compo’s world of Amazons and warriors will amaze and thrill you. She brings a whole new dimension to the werewolf and vampire legacy and explains everything so naturally that there is no moment to wonder how she would make the idea work. This was a fantastic story and I eagerly await her next. Thanks so much for creating a captivating story that I could not put down!
