Changeling

Michael “Mich” Matthews says that he doesn’t believe in magic, which is an absurd and foolish statement to make in an Irish Pub on St. Patrick’s Day. The locals go on to tell him stories of fairies which Mich chooses to dismiss. He is in for a big surprise when he has a fairy encounter of his own. After his encounter with the fairy Mich also begins to have conversations with his dead mother that encourage him to get involved with the fairy. Mich then starts a relationship with Arien, the fairy that captured him, only to lose his heart to her. When their time is cut short, Mich must decide just how far he will go to keep the woman of his heart.

In order to keep the woman destined to be his, he must find the key to keeping her with him or risk losing her forever.

Changeling is a great story about love that can be found between opposites. I loved that Mich found the woman of his dreams and then let nothing stand in the way of having her-not even time itself. It was a touching story because Mich doesn’t let what seems an impossible task stand in his way of being with the woman he loves. Shelby Morgen has created a great story that will not fail to touch readers, making them eager to read more of her work.
