Addicted

Samantha Reynolds is a divorce attorney. She is also about to marry a man she does not love. Being a prime example of once bitten, twice shy, she has decided to marry a man who is rich and handsome - every woman’s dream. He is also someone her father approves of – unlike Eric, the love of her life, who left her when he could no longer stand the interference and expectations of her father. There is only one problem with her relationship with her fiancé: she doesn’t respond to him (or he to her) in any passionate or physical way. Samantha blames this on her addiction to Eric, with whom she once shared a very hot, passionate and sensual relationship. When Eric approaches her on the evening of her bachelorette party, she decides to sleep with him one last time, hoping that this will erase her addiction to him and enable her to respond to her fiancé. But does Eric have a hidden agenda?

This Ellora’s Cave Quickie is a sensual tale of love lost and recaptured. It makes you hope that the main characters, who are so clearly meant to be together, will get their act together and form the life-long, loving relationship that is within their reach. Ms. Jones has successfully crafted a story where the insecurities and doubts of a couple and their family have managed to split the couple up – but love finds a way to reunite them. This erotic romance is told mostly from the heroine’s point of view, although the hero’s point of view also makes occasional appearances, allowing the reader access to the thoughts and feelings of both of the main characters (something which is rarely done with any degree of success, but which Ms. Jones successfully carries off). A great read, and well worth purchasing.
