Full Moon Heat
Dashika McMartin is a Park Ranger of mixed Black and Native American heritages. Having just ended a relationship with the cheating, kinky Jamal, she has just started a new job at the Vermont National Forest. Whilst on a trail, heading toward the rendezvous point, she hears rustling in the bushes and believes that something is following her – only she doesn’t know what, until later that night she sees two huge wolves.
Adam and Jake are bisexual werewolves. Adam is Alpha of their pack and Jake is his Beta. The pack accepts them as a mated couple, but there’s something missing: a female alpha, or Lupa. They have been searching for a female for a while and believe they have finally found her – in Dashika. But how are they to gain her attention – and her love?
This storyline came as a surprise to me when I began reading. Whilst I was expecting a ménage a trois storyline based around two males and a female, I was not expecting these males to be bisexual. Nevertheless, this plot worked really well and I found it very original. Having never read a storyline with gay and/or bisexual werewolves, after reading this novella by Lia Connor, I find myself eager to read more books of this genre. Full Moon Heat had me grinning, laughing and squirming. This tale contains very subtle humor and positively sizzling sex scenes. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic erotica and cannot wait to get my hands on more of Ms. Connor’s work.
