Naked in Moonlight - Book One: The Bloodstone Legacy

Melissa is totally disgusted with her friend Lacy. Lacy’s husband Drake died in her arms in a horrific car accident one year ago. Today is the anniversary of his death, and Melissa is still trying to get Lacy to rejoin the land of the living. Lacy barely sleeps, she doesn’t eat, she simply exists, waiting for the pieces of her life to magically come back together.

Something strange happens; Lacy receives a registered letter from her dead husband. The regular mailman claims to know nothing about it, and when Melissa confronts Lacy about it, she can’t or won’t remember receiving it.

What follows is a labyrinth of plot devices resulting in a cliffhanger of an ending; Naked in Moonlight presents an interesting premise and then leaves readers clamoring for more. Lacy is almost ethereal in her naiveté, and is oblivious to the dark forces at work here, even as she grieves for her dead husband. When she is enlightened to the evil that is lurking, her selfless character really shines through. I’m eagerly awaiting for more from this series, and can’t wait for Aurora Rose Lynn to reveal more secrets from The Bloodstone Legacy.
