The Scorpio Caper

Freddie Bonner is the CEO, Director and Producer of Scorpio Productions, a film company. He’s made lots of movies and lots of money, but his true interest lies in the making of a documentary about the Mayan people. He finishes his current project, gets his crew together, and heads down to Merida, Mexico to chase his dream.

Dr. Monique Lafrenier, a gorgeous and talented anthropologist, offers Freddie her help and expertise in researching the film, as well as her body. As the filming of the movie progresses, the Cult of the Feathered Serpent, a politically and religiously motivated underground group, makes their presence known in dangerous and deadly ways.

Tightly written and lush, The Scorpio Caper blends steamy eroticism with an action-packed storyline to create a very exciting story. Bret Mallory pens a tale of old-world mysticism, corruption and the timeless struggle for power as Scorpio heats up, whirling readers into a stunning and climactic finish. Among my favorite characters are Freddie, Monique, and Gary (the group’s “secret weapon”). Add a bad guy with a god complex to the mix, and you’ve got a barnburner of a tale. If you like action-adventure with a sexy twist, this one’s for you!
