Cariboo Lunewulf: Pursuit is the second book in the Cariboo Lunewulf series and should be read in order.

Pamela Bordeaux has been on the run from the Cariboo Lunewulf that her father sold her to. Jordan took her and beat her and she will not be someone’s possession.

While out working, Gabe and Stone MacAllister were sent to find out who abandoned a car on the ranch. As they searched, they found Pamela and chased her to their den and proceeded to find out what was going on. After hearing about the problems that Pamela is facing, Gabe finds himself feeling more protective towards her than he ever has for any woman. What follows is an amazing story of love conquering all, even antiquated werewolf laws.

This is another home run for Ms. O’Clare. I’m almost running out of good things to say about her books! Almost. Yet again, Ms. O’Clare pens a story that tackles a sensitive subject. In Taming Heather she dealt with bigotry and in Pursuit she deals with abuse. This was not a main theme, but it was dealt with and portrayed in the light it is meant to be. I enjoyed watching Pamela stand up for herself and strive for happiness amidst problem after problem. Gabe and Stone are too hot for their own good and are fitting knights for Pamela. Wow, what an ending! I cannot wait for the next installment!
