In Love Spell by Charlene Teglia an inept witch finds herself in a platonic relationship and decides to get out of it and search for the passion she needs. Mitch cannot keep his mind out of the gutter when it comes to Lucy and is afraid to touch her. Both of these individuals have crossed lines that need to be unraveled. Can a break up shake them up and make them realize that what they need is each other?

This was a fun romp through the fantasies of two sensual people. The idea of ending one relationship to start another is intriguing. I loved how uninhibited they were with their sensuality. This was a great start to an anthology. Well-done Ms. Teglia.

Club Rendezvous by Jan Springer

Club Rendezvous is a club that caters to the sexual whims of its patrons. When Emma walks into the club, she is immediately struck by the carnality throughout. When her college crush steps up behind her, she knows that she came here for the right reasons: to rediscover her sexual side and to trust a man’s touch again.

Logan is pleased to see that Emma really came. He cannot wait to see if she will live up to his fantasies and if he can share her as it seems she wants to be shared. Follow this couple in a discovery of amazing heat and decadence.

Wow. What an amazingly erotic story! I was pleasantly surprised by the eroticism. Definitely hope to read more about the shenanigans going on at Club Rendezvous. This anthology just keeps getting better and better!

Freak of Nature by Shiloh Walker

Five years ago Micah walked out on Zoe after a flaming affair. Now he’s back and asking for her help finding a madman. Zoe cannot believe Micah’s audacity in expecting her to welcome him with open arms! Together they will face the evil man who brought them together last time and hopefully this time there will be a happy ending.

I haven’t read a present-based psychic story in a while and didn’t even realize I’d missed it! Until I read this. I loved the idea of an X-files type of agency. I hope that Ms. Walker continues to write more along this line because she does it so well.

Vampires and Donuts by Tielle St. Clare

Kendra is a financial advisor to the strangest people. Well, actually, vampires. After making her friend Brand a lot of money, he started to send his friends to her until she had to change her hours to cater to her ‘night time’ clients. When Kendra gets caught in the middle of an undead turf war, she finds out that her ‘friend’ wants to be more than friends. Will she be able to live with what happens next?

I got such a kick out of the irreverence in this story. Kendra was a trip and Brand was just steamy enough to be fun. The banter between these two characters was well developed and believable. I look forward to more vampires from Ms. St Clare.

Demon’s Fall by Margaret Carter

Karl Engel has been sent to keep Erin Collier from meeting someone. With no information other than keep her from work tomorrow, Karl tries to influence her by becoming her confidant and champion. Erin isn’t quite sure what to make of the playboy philanthropist, but when he tries to help her after a parking lot encounter, she figures that he’s not all bad. Unseen forces bring them closer and closer until Erin learns Karl’s secret.

Demon’s Fall was a unique story that questioned the lines that are drawn between good and evil. The characters in this story were very well developed and the plotline was unique. I thoroughly enjoyed this story by Margaret Carter. This is the first I’ve read of hers and I look forward to more.

Garden of Eden by Jaci Burton

Eden woke up after being in suspension for a century to see that everything she knew on Earth is gone. Completely destroyed! When she wakes her podmate, Adam, and listens to a message from her father, Eden finds out that her new life will not even resemble her old one. In order to revitalize Earth, Eden and Adam must use Adam’s amazing powers to bring about a Utopia. Will Eden be willing when she learns her part in the job?

Jaci Burton does it again! What an amazingly hot and steamy story! Not only was it a sensuous read, but it was a compelling read as well! Ms. Burton does a great job building the world and the characters here and just blew me away with her imaginative plot. What a wonderful ending to a fabulous anthology.

Ellora’s Cavemen: Legendary Tails II was yet another home run by Ellora’s Cave. I have always enjoyed their caliber of authors and was not disappointed. If you have a weekend to while away, this is the book to have.
