NuWorld: Tara the Great
Nuworld: Tara the Great is the sequel to NuWorld: The Saga Begins. These books should be read in order.
Tara and Darius are back in this book and are facing a foe that they cannot understand. With Patha stepping down and Tara taking over the leadership of the Runners, Tara and Darius are now on equal footing, but Darius does not and will not see it that way. When a horrendous plan is unveiled by the Lunians, Tara and Darius fight to put their differences aside and protect their people - not just their people, but someone dear to their hearts. Grudgingly enlisting the help of the Neurians, they begin a battle for their lives and the protection of their nations.
Yet again Lorie O’Clare writes a gut-wrenching story that stays with you long after you read it. I actually had a harder time sympathizing with Darius in this book, he acted like an absolute troglodyte most of the time. Tara was as strong as ever and still unwilling to bend enough to be what Darius needs. It was fascinating to see how these two strong-willed people butted heads. Torgo has been a treat to watch grow up and it looks like he will end up being a good man. The Lunians were great villians; anything that would behave as they did is frightening in the most basic sense of the word. This was a very well-written book, and I hope to read more about this world.
