Wolf Moon

Dr. Jake “the snake” Moore has come home to Louisiana to head the reptile department of the local zoo. He has been interested snakes most of his life, but after becoming a werewolf, Jake had a very good reason to research them – he uses their venom to try to control his shift changes.

Josie Martin is still mourning her husband four years after his death. When she sees Jake at a zoo fundraiser, she is instantly reminded of the passionate night they spent together after graduation. Jake also remembers that night very well, but not only because of Josie. That night he was attacked by a werewolf and his life changed forever.

Both Josie and Jake fight their attraction to each other. Jake sticks to strictly short and sweet physical relationships, and Josie still feels an obligation to her dead husband. Very quickly, though, they succumb to their desires. When Jake learns that it was a wolf attack that caused Josie’s husband’s death, he begins to think that Josie might be the wolf’s real target.

Wolf Moon is erotic, romantic and suspenseful. The hero is a werewolf and a cowboy – what a combination! Josie is a woman with realistic proportions and Jake loves her curves. What’s more, when Jake finally gives in to his feelings for Josie, he is unquestionably devoted to her. What a wolf-man!

Ms. Sparks has left the ending wide open, so with any luck there is a sequel in the works. That’s good news for those of us who love erotic werewolf romances!
