O'Hara vs. Wilder

Jake Wilder wished he was reuniting with Tess O’Hara under better circumstances. The two had been unable to blend careers and a relationship when Tess wanted small town life and Jake wanted city life. Jake knew that small-town sheriff Tess could not be involved in anything illegal and was intent on proving her innocence of being involved with a counterfeit ring. Jake still has feelings for Tess but cannot allow those to interfere with his investigation of the counterfeit ring. The intense attraction is still there, but will they be left burned again when the investigation is over?

Tess O’Hara has worked very hard to earn respect as a sheriff yet instead of being able to look into the counterfeit ring herself, she has investigator Jake Wilder looking over her shoulder and in her way. The past steamy relationship Tess and Jake shared is still very much on their minds. Working closely with Jake brings back all the old feelings that Tess thought were buried away. Tess is unable to deny that she is still very attracted to Jake, but can her heart recover when Jake leaves again? Will she be able to let him go?

O’Hara vs. Wilder is a very charming book that you will not want to put down. Linda Wisdom has outdone herself with Tess and Jake. The two are very independent and will have to bend in order to have the love that is waiting for them. The passionate relationship between Tess and Jake is more intense this time around as they realize what they so easily gave up five years ago.
