Traces of Love

Traces of Love is a collection of poems about the many types of love. Various authors provide the reader with a diverse set of poetry. Each author has a unique style and they come together to express various types of love in true poetic format. Some are serious and some light- hearted.

Pleasure, passion, pain, inspiration, desperation, lost love, first time love, serious to silly. Love is capable of causing these things in a person and more. The poetry in this anthology will make you recall your own experiences. As you’re reading you’ll say to yourself, I remember this or that feeling.

One of my favorites is by Kelly Ann Malone. She leads you to believe Just Luscious to be about a woman’s body and then lusciously surprises you with the ending. Laugh out loud fun.

There’s No Comparision in Steven Manchester’s beautiful poetic style. The words every woman wants to hear.

Refreshing, uplifting, thought provoking. Chapter titles include themes such as Radiance, Desire, Symphony, Nostalgia, Lost Love, Love’s Treasure, and Spirit of Love. Each author has a unique outlook and style. Poetry is a universal language, a short story and Traces of Love is an excellent venue for expressing the emotion of love.

Michelle D. Ruopoli begins with a foreword and ends with a short biography on each author. Michelle does an A-1 job on putting this anthology together. Everything flows very well. The authors; Michelle D. Ruopoli, Barri Bryan, Fredrick Gachanja Njoroge, Thomas Lee Rhymes, Dan Boughton, Joylynn M. Jossel, Kelly Ann Malone, and Steven Manchester offer their perspectives on the emotion of love. I read it in it’s entirely in one sitting. I will read the poems from time to time to revisit the emotions they express so well. I liked reading the bios on the authors, very interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed Traces of Love.
