This suspenseful, action packed story will have you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next twist, tearing up over Kate’s painful past, and finally anxiously awaiting the happily ever after ending. Kate and Lane rub each other the wrong way at first, but their attraction for each other quickly develops. Perhaps because of the strange events under which they meet, their feelings for each other are jumbled but intense. Ms. Munro does a wonderful job describing how each of their pasts affects their perceptions of events now. Lane’s been burned so many times, he finds it hard to believe that Kate isn’t trying to blackmail him or make money from the tabloids. Kate’s past relationships have not only been painful, but have also made her question the choices she currently makes. Throw in a crazy stalker, a little kidnapping, and a lot of love and you’ve got a great book on your hands. Enjoy this one…I did!
