While Calypso’s Secrets revolves around the boat called Calypso, it seems that anything and maybe everything can happen. This book grabs and holds you from page one, making you wonder if Skylar will end up like her sister - a virtual unknown - and contemplating if she will make it out alive or not.

Skylar takes a job as a swim instructor for Martin Escalle’s nephew, Christopher, at Casa del Mar in the Florida Keys to find out about her sister, Mia. Mia took a position with the Escalles last year and disappeared. On the way there, she meets a man so sexy and irresistible that she dubs him Mr. Stud. R. Stud is driving a yellow jeep, and honks at her on the road, going around her flying as if he had road rage.

Lo and behold, she finally gets to the Escalle estate, only to find out that Mr. Stud is really Luke White. Luke is Mr. Escalle’s right-hand man, as well as the enforcer and problem-solver for him. Will he help her find out what happened to her sister or will he get rid of her? You will like finding out if Skylar meets her match in the oh-so-sexy Luke, who does nothing but flirt and stare at her with eyes full of desire and lust.

Calypso’s Secrets by Isabelle Kane is one book that had me riveted from one page to the next. It was entertaining watching what kind of trouble Skylar gets herself into; seeing if she can get out of it with her life intact had me on the edge of my seat. Filled with suspense from the first to the last page, this is a great book.

Bursting with excitement and suspense like a cliff hanger waiting for the axe to fall made me realize what a well-written and exciting book this is. I liked the fact that the action kept me interested in the book. I read it quickly and then reread it again at my leisure to make sure I did not miss any of the good tidbits and suspense in Calypso’s Secrets. I am definitely looking for any books new or old by Isabelle Kane. She certainly gotten me hooked on her writing!
