You Belong to Me

Julie's daughter Shannon is getting married to Dan. There is only one tiny problem, Shannon's' ex-boyfriend Brett. Shannon needs to know what happened with Brett before she can marry Dan. Her father Max arrives for homecoming and the wedding to find that not only is his ex-wife hostile about his staying with her, but he seems to be the only one that feels Dan and Shannon getting married would be a mistake. When Shannon runs off with Brett, the sparks fly between Julie and Max. Can the sparks set off an unexpected chain of events?

Barri Bryan's You Belong to Me is a heartfelt story of rekindling lost love and how the bumps and bruises on a heart can lead you to an even deeper and more wonderful future. The writing is wonderful, the sex scenes are really scorching, and the love between the characters is amazing. Max and Julie are a typical divorced couple trying their best to get along for the sake of their daughter. The thoughts and feelings written are very believable and realistic. This was a wonderful read that I had a hard time putting down. I could not wait to find out what happened. I would love to see another book involving some of the other characters.
