What happens when a fan actually meets the rocker that has soloed in every one of her fantasies?

Alicia loves metal music, combat boots, and most of all, the lead singer for the metal band Façade. Yet in trying to please her mother, she has forsaken her rebel side and finds herself mistakenly engaged to a man she doesn’t love. As she is trying to fix the current mess in her life, fate adds insult to injury by introducing her to the man that haunts her every dream, Derek Kadin. Only she isn’t supposed to know who he really is.

Derek Kadin is on vacation from Façade and he just happens to choose Alicia’s sister’s bed and breakfast. When he checks in under an assumed name, it’s all Alicia can do not to drool as she shows him to his room. A turn of events has her playing hostess to him and Alicia soon finds herself in a trap of her own making. Can Alicia find a way to resolve her situation, or will she lose her chance with Derek because of her own lies?

In Rock Hard Seduction 1: Voices and Lies, Tonya Ramagos takes a popular romantic premise and creates her own distinct, enjoyable story. Her depiction of Alicia is flavored with humor and a personality that makes her lifelike to readers. Her desire to be a good daughter is understandable, but her remorse at losing herself and her friends in the process is something everyone can relate to. As she tries to make things right, readers will applaud her honesty with herself, while at the same time lament the web of lies she is building around herself with Derek. Ms. Ramagos’ characterization of Derek displays a raw masculinity tempered by the man behind the fame. This reader enjoyed seeing these two characters come together, while at the same time, this story had me anxiously waiting for the fallout when their house of lies crumbled around them. The author doesn’t disappoint as she concludes this tale with an ending that is sure to delight fans.
