There was something about the man on the screen that Jen felt she should know and when her partner Ray saw the photo, he knew what it was. The man looked like his old partner, Blade. Pulling Blade in to help with this job was the right move, he looked enough like Mik Poling, the forger, that he could pass for his double. Once Blade agreed to play the part of Mik and come on to Jen, the three of them are ready to play the part and steal back a painting that had been stolen from a senator. Blade and Jen have no problem playing at being attracted to each other; they both wish it was for real and hope the other one feels the same. But there are other forces at work and may jeopardize not only the job, but their lives as well. When the boat that Blade and Jen take out is sabotaged, they know someone is on to them. Will they be able to get the job done before one or all of them are killed? Can Blade and Jen have a relationship after all the acting is over? These are just a couple of the answers you’ll find in this riveting book.

Ms. Levigne’s book is one that will have the reader glued to the story until the very end. The suspense is so realistic, you feel as if you’re in the story with the characters. These characters are very believable and you find yourself cheering with the good guys and wanting to punch out the bad guys. There are places where the humor will make you laugh out loud and scenes where you’ll have tears in your eyes for Blade, Jen and for Ray. The author also has a few surprises in store for her readers.
