Simply Irresistible

Maggie Morgan’s simple life as a grade school teacher is about to change when she is detained by the police for prostitution. It is all a misunderstanding, but the arresting officer, Case Roberts, doesn’t believe her story when she says her actions were only a game she and her fiancé had been playing. Now Case Roberts is asking her to help him in a sting operation to get evidence against Victor Wakefield so the D.A. could have him arrested; all she had to do is pose as Case's sub. The more Case and Maggie investigate the more they find out her ex- fiancé is involved with Wakefield and his dungeon. Wakefield’s desire for Maggie gives them their entrance to the dungeon, can they pull off being Master and sub?

Case is a by-the-book cop, but he needs help to get Victor Wakefield and he finds that help in one Maggie Morgan. The more he gets to know her, the more he wonders if she hadn't been telling the truth when he'd spotted a man propositioning her for sex and she'd quoted a price. Acting like a Master to her slave isn't something he has any experience with and knows they will have to study everything to be able to pull it off. Case just needs to get inside the dungeon to get his evidence and Maggie gives him an opening. However, once in the dungeon though things go wrong and Case has to find Maggie before it's too late.

Ms. Storey's tale of two people, who are thrown together because of circumstance and how they learn to trust each other to take down an evil man, is one the readers will like. This story will even appeal to those who aren't into spankings or bondage/submission as the author has written it so well that you know the characters are only acting to get the bad guy. I love the scene where Maggie finds out just how bad her ex-fiancé really was as it brings Case and her closer together even though they haven't realized it as of yet. Ms. Storey knows how to get her readers involved in the story and feeds them exactly what they want from the hero, heroine and the secondary characters.
