Learning To Love Again
Sarah Jamison is alone in the world. She has lost her whole family and her home to a fire while she was away earning her teacher's certificate. In 1874 a woman has limited options when she is alone in the world, so Sarah takes a job in a small town far away. Paradise, Texas might just be the answer to her prayers. When she arrives in Dallas she soon realizes just how small a town Paradise really is. So small that the stage doesn't even travel through. Just when Sarah is beginning to panic, she spots a handsome stranger approaching her. He introduces himself as Derek Comstock. Sarah relaxes as this is the man who has hired her to teach school.
Derek can't believe how attracted he is to the new school teacher. When his wife died four years ago he was sure that part of his life was over. His prayers are answered when Sarah admits she has the same feelings for him that she has for her. But their newfound happiness is threatened by a man who is determined to possess her at any cost.
Grab a cup of tea, sit back and enjoy! What a treat author Rebecca Goings has in store for you. Enthralling three-dimensional characters will enchant the reader's imagination and keep the pages turning. Sarah is heartwarming in her faith that God has a plan for her even when she is angry at Him for taking her family away. She trusts her faith in God to keep her safe in her new pursuit. Derek has waited for four years to give his heart away again. He never thought he could love another woman as he did Julia, his late wife and mother of his seven-year-old son. It is very rewarding to travel with him in his newfound love. This reviewer rooted for these two characters from the very first chapter. Even the villain is well written. Jackson Quinn is a man you will love to hate, but not hate to love. He is a despicable man if this reviewer ever read of one. Totally delicious and intriguing.
Learning To Love Again is a sweet romance without sexual content. A refreshing delight in this day and age. Romantic and sweet kisses abound in this book, but nothing to offend the senses of any inspirational romance lover. Highly recommended for anyone looking for such a story.
