The Embraced Book 3 - Blood of an Angel

Tiya is an OtherKin Sidhe who has declared a blood vendetta against the rogue Embraced who slaughtered her family. She walked in on the murders and was able to question one of the killers. He said only two things: Vincent and Minneapolis. When she finds and tries to kill Vincent, Charlie is injured and yet, is able to keep her from killing Vincent. Not only that, but he’s able to take a taste of her blood thus enabling him to track her.

Charlie is an Embraced Vampir trying to come to grips with the pain of losing a loved one. He is hiding from his pain in Minneapolis, but is pulled from his self-pity by Tiya’s story. When they are attacked, he tells Tiya that he will help her bring her family’s murderers to justice. Travel with them as they reveal an entire race of people not known to the Embraced.

This was a great story and very well written. Ms. Bast has, yet again, penned a phenomenal book. Tiya is an amazing character. She is a woman comfortable with her sexuality and willing to indulge it. Not only that, but she is also willing to do whatever is needed to avenge her family. Charlie was a fascinating character with a sad story. To be denied a father’s love is harsh, especially in the circumstances surrounding him. I give this book 5 Angels for it’s amazing cast and it’s great plot.
