Bound Hearts 7: Shameless is the seventh book in this series; however, it’s not necessary to read this series in order.

Courtney has loved Ian since he rescued her and her mother. In the years following, her love has grown from the pure feelings of a child to the slightly edgier love of a woman. Courtney has known of Ian’s predilections since she was sixteen and watched him with her maid. Can she convince him that she is adult enough to understand what he needs?

Ian has been emotionally scarred by an unbalanced woman who made him doubt his ability to love. Since then, he has held himself back from women. Ian refuses to mar Courtney’s innocence and is afraid to even try to love her. How can he give her what she wants, his heart, when he isn’t even sure he possesses it?

The only thing I can really say is, wow. I absolutely loved this book. I have read almost everything by Ms. Leigh and have liked what I’ve read, but this was just amazing. The sex scenes are so well written that I actually had to get up and get a glass of water! Courtney was a lovely, fresh yet sensual woman who definitely knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to try for it. Ian was an alpha to die for. The way that he and Courtney locked horns was fun to watch and you didn’t know who to cheer for. Shameless is the best of the series so far, with Ms. Leigh raising the bar even more with each installment. Thankfully she has always risen to the challenge. I look forward to her next book.
