Dream Surrender

Loren was hiding from the rest of the partygoers at a wedding when she caught sight of a man on the beach. Rourke couldn’t believe how sensual the woman was, he had to know her! Using his abilities, he heightened her response to him and walked to her. Loren couldn’t believe that he was walking to her, he moved so well. They indulged in an amazing kiss before Loren halted it by stating that she was married.

The next time they saw each other was to be quarantined for Ebola Tai Forest. How could such a simple thing like a kiss completely change someone’s life? Rourke and Loren now are stuck in close quarters. Can Rourke share all of his secrets and have Loren accept him for who he is?

What a fascinatingly scary idea. What if a kiss endangered your life? How would you react? Ms. Wine does a fabulous job bringing this scenario to life. The characters behaved very believably and were true to their personalities. I liked the conflict between Loren and Chris, a man from her past. Loren stood up to him and held her own. The idea of her son Toby, a fourteen-year-old genius, was great too. Dream Surrender was a great continuation of a fabulous series.
