Dreams Made Flesh is a collection of stories that take place at different times within the Dark Jewels Trilogy. Weaver of Dreams takes place before Daughter of the Blood, while The Prince of Ebon Rih occurs after Heir to the Shadows. Zuulamann is a story from Saetan’s past, and Kaeleer’s Heart concludes the series.

Weaver of Dreams takes you to the beginning, before the Blood. You get to watch as the Weaver of Dreams is born and the Jewels are created. The first steps to making dreams flesh are chronicled in this short story.

The Prince of Ebon Rih humanizes a great Eryian warrior and makes you sick when you see how far his mother will go to ‘protect’ her son. Enjoy watching Marian and Lucivar spar with each other, both hiding their feelings.

Zuulamann allows you to feel the pain of a father and to see the depths to which a Black-Jeweled Warlord can and will descend to. The fear that has been felt whenever Saeten’s name is mentioned is justified. Read about Zuulamann and fear the High Lord.

Kaeleer’s Heart brings the series to a close. It’s a heart-rending romance between Daemon and Jaenelle that makes you cry and laugh. To see the love that these two share is staggering.

Anne Bishop outdoes herself with these touching stories. Each one of them made you jump into her world without a hitch. I haven’t read her books in about two years and it was as if I had never left. I give Dreams Made Flesh 5 Angels and the Recommended Read honor for the sheer emotion of the stories.
