I'm a Vampire and I Count

Tiffany Golden is a vampire trying to wipe out stereotypes. Count Victor Vyrdelek is a vampire steeped in stereotypes. The first time these two undead meet is when Tiffany was out lobbying for undead votes! Count Victor cannot believe that she would use an invitation to speak with a vampire master to try and get Ohio votes! After Tiffany’s candidate is elected as President, Count Victor begins to ‘summon’ her. Tiffany tries to think of it as an invitation instead of a summoning because summoning is so clichéd.

Ingrid Foha is a member of People United for the Mercy Animals (PUMA) and is a vegan Were-Maltese. Constantin Lupinksi is a werewolf hired by Count Victor to howl and keep the ambiance up to par for his castle. After checking with PUMA about the leniency of a Were being a carnivore, Ingrid tries to convince Constantin to become a vegetarian.

When these two couples are in the same area, nothing is sacred.

This was one of the most bizarre books I have ever read. In a good way! If you have a quirky sense of humor, you will definitely enjoy this series. The characters were amazingly fun. Ms. Rose has a Python-esque sense of humor and is great at adding little things that creep up on you, only to make you fall out of your chair laughing. May I mention a rooster and a cat? This was a great departure from the dark and brooding stories that I have been reading lately. Thanks for the fun, Ms. Rose.
