When Tee wakes up disoriented from what she thinks was a hard night of partying followed by sex with a stranger, her first thought is to slip out quietly to avoid embarrassment. She's not quiet enough though, and soon learns the wolf she went home with is Chaos – sexy alpha pack leader and major player.

Although Chaos has been watching Tee for some time, his fear of letting anyone get close emotionally caused him to keep his distance. But when he sees a bartender slip something into Tee's drink, he has to make his move to protect her and ends up closer to her than he thought possible.

Chaos is a hard-hitting, bittersweet love story. It's the prequel to Leader of the Pack, but these stories are so powerful together that it doesn't matter which one you read first, you'll definitely want to read the other!

Carys Weldon has written Chaos and Tee as two complex, yet very likeable characters. They both have cultivated a tough façade to hide their inner desire for love and acceptance. The pair has equally fatalistic views of the future and live only for today. The way Ms. Weldon depicts the dynamics of relationships within a pack is also very interesting. Chaos' twin brother, Leer, is chomping at the bit for his chance to become pack leader. Yet the brothers are very close emotionally and Chaos understands why Leer feels the need to challenge him. Chaos also understands his own need to keep the title even if it means fighting Leer to the death for it.

I highly recommend Chaos, as well as Leader of the Pack, to fans of werewolf romance. If you like love stories with animal magnetism, you simply cannot miss this series. According to Ms. Weldon's website, she has several more of these stories in the works. If they all live up to the standards set by the first two, they will be at the very top of my favorite erotic werewolf romances.
