Gutter Soul

O’Neill is a businessman selling youth serum to a certain kind of clientele. A meeting with a particular international starlet at a dingy motel, in a seedy part of town, has him anticipating an interesting transaction. A transaction worth more than what was financially agreed on and that will sate his sexual hunger for her.

Gutter Soul is a futuristic erotic prequel to Scirotica 2. At twenty-four pages, it’s dark and sexually explicit straying away from romance. Ms. Hale creates a shady environment as a backdrop for an interesting and suspenseful plot. I really loved how she describes the atmosphere. It’s morbid, unclean, and drenched in sexuality. O’Neill is an anti-hero who hungers for domination. I liked the fact that the rest of the characters are nameless. It adds a mysterious ambience to the storyline. Written in first person, Gutter Soul is a fast-paced short story containing light BDSM, multiple partners, f/f/f ménage and semi-consensual under tones. Well-written and sexually charged for the adventuress reader.
