When Caradog refuses a high ranking females the Right of Selection, he is incarcerated and deemed a Deviant. Receiving the ultimate punishment, Caradog has been sent to the Room of Pleasure.

At twenty pages, The Room of Pleasure is a fast paced, futuristic sci-fi short story. Caradog is a character that believes there’s something more than being a pleasure slave. A part of him doesn’t want to rebel, while the other despises what he has become. Being sent to a place where no man has ever returned is his way of escaping the female society. I really liked how Mr. Naso created his civilization structure. The females are ranked by importance while the males are ranked by how well they pleasure. I like the author’s writing style. In just a few pages he has kept my interest from beginning to end with an engaging storyline. A bit short, but an enjoyable read, especially for fans of cliffhangers.
