Dinner For Two

Hugh Thomas has let a lot of things slide in his life while working on a big case. His girlfriend has left him and he has no social life. In order to keep his firm alive, Hugh had to participate in a modeling contest. When he gets trapped in the elevator with his neighbor, he thinks his luck might be changing. Hugh is attracted to Anne-Marie and she seems to share his feelings. Will this be a one-night stand or is it the beginning of a relationship?

Anne-Marie Collins is having a bad day – her boss’s wife thinks they are having an affair, her car was towed with her purse inside and now she is stuck in the elevator of her apartment building. The gorgeous guy that lives down the hall is also trapped with her. Anne-Marie has been attracted to Hugh since the first time she saw him. Will now be their chance to be something more than just neighbors? Hugh and she Anne-Marie connect on many levels but is it real or just being trapped together?

Deanna Lee’s Dinner For Two is a cute story of two people being trapped in an elevator. Anne-Marie and Hugh are delightful as they make the most of a bad situation. The author uses humor and dialogue to create an amusing farce.
